WEEK SIXTEEN  //  LIST YOUR FAVORITE BOOKS

 

 



This was a great one. List all your favorite books...I don't have many but these are the ones that I honestly can say have changed my outlook, or life, or just my direction.

I like to have them in my possession so I can go back to them whenever I need to refresh my thought on something.

Weekend Recap

     
Friday:

- a "client" (my auntie) ordered some pillow cushions

- went shopping for the supplies and found a crochet hook ON SALE (Yay!!  Looks very antiqued but works like a charm.)

- caught up with my spanish soap operas

Saturday:

- went bike riding with my babies (great weather & much needed exercise)

- got started on the 1st pillow cushion (love the way they are coming out & the easy, fun pattern I'm using for them)

- Must THANK Barbara Langer from  Made in K-town for the tutorial for this cushion & inspiration

- got started on the 2nd pillow cushion base; so I can whip it up & send it to my "customer"

Sunday:

- watched some movies with my honey

- jotted down my thoughts in my journal (my mind was so crowded-I had to do some deleting)

- wrote out my THANKSGIVING to God, for all His mercy, Protection & LOVE, in my prayer journal



Had a wonderful weekend...Thank God!  Did a little of all my favorite things and got to spend time with the loves of my life.

Sooooooo happy that I am done. It came out so beautiful....I'm in Love!

I wanted to share this one with you guys.  This was a great project.  Very therapeutic and relaxing for the soul...and for the home!  It brings color to my sofa and life.

Spring Afghan Finished

 

Yay! My Spring Afghan is finished. I love the way it came out. It brings new life to my home and now...to work on the pillow.

Here we go... a trip into my fantasies and realities...I love it.  WOW! What a wonderful way to spend a few minutes - dreaming and listing!

Weekend Recap

 

 

Friday:

- went shopping at Ikea to get some new window treatments for the kiddies' room

- put Daddy (and Baby) to work on it right away

Saturday:

 

- took out and dusted off my sewing amchine to hem some jeans and other "forgotten"  projects

 

- relaxed a while and watch a movie with my pumpkins

Sunday:

- sewed together the rest of my squares to the afghan

- continued working on the edge of my Spring Afghan
