Here they are: MY BOOT CUFFS. I never made these before but I LOVE THEM! They are fun to make and wear. I thought they would only look good with my riding boots but they go with any boot. It's an awesome accessory...they give that little pop to your outfits.
I made these in 1 day with less than one skein of yarn. I do plan to make more.
I also turned out this Turban Headband with the leftover yarn...so it matches my boot cuffs. I have to tell you guys that I got so many stops...it really was incredible. While at the market, my neighbors and I had to explain that these were more like accessory items to add to the outfits.
You have to own these items ladies because it is the winter accessory that will have people stopping you!
So I found some time to make this delicious, yummy, easy Tres Leches Cake by my friend, The Pioneer Woman. OMG! You guys have to visit her site. Just the photography alone; is amazing. The pictures make you want to try everything you see there...YES! IT IS THAT GREAT!
This was a very quick and easy recipe. And that's why I love her; she takes the complicated and makes it so easy and versatile that you will feel like a pro once you try it.
This Free-Style Friday is not a product or item. But it is a share of 2 thoughts from my heart.
My workstation... my wonderful mess. Believe it or not, sitting here with all these colorful threads help me choose the colors I will use together in any project that I am about to make. Color gets the thought process going for me. Colors seem to talk to me...telling me "this will make a great hat or scarf or gloves."
I love my space. This is where ideas are born. Things are created, embellished and loved. It's My Serenity...I feel whole here and my spirit fills with joy.
How's your workstations or work areas? How does it fill you with joy? What inspires you?
My son took this picture and I love it. That pine tree is so beautiful.
You really can't see (or can you?), the purples, pinks, oranges, and cranberry reds...but this picture just makes me say "Thank You...just for letting us Be Alive and Blessed!"
I finished this hat yesterday. And I had to embellish it. The print is great but it just needed a little something. I'm finding that with all my hats, I now want to add that "umph" just to spice it up and make it pop.
Of course, I had to just jump on another project...and no it's not a hat...(laughing).
Can you guess what it will be?
I'll give you some clues...
A) I haven't made this yet.
B) It's a popular accessory.
And... C) There will be 2 not just 1.
Well back to work. My family says that I'm like a spider, once the Fall comes around; constantly knitting things with yarn.
