So this is the pattern I decided to share with you guys.  It's easier than the Oval Earrings in my last post and very quick to do.

You will need the to do the following:

MATERIALS for 1 pair:

• crochet thread Size 10 (any color you like) here I used Aunt Lydia's Metallic threads
• crochet hook Size 1 (2.75mm)
• large eye sewing needle
• sharp scissors
• 4 jump ring
• 2 earring hook

OK...so here we go:

1. ch 10; slip stitch in 1st chain to make a ring.
2. ch 4; 3dctog; ch 1; 4dctog, ch 1(repeat 7 times); sl st to top of ch 4.
3. ch 6 (this makes your dc plus ch 2); *3dctog in the next stitch; ch 2; dc in the next, ch 2* (repeat from*to* 7 times); 3dctog in the next stitch; ch 2; sl st in the 3rd ch of the ch 6.
4. 3 sc in each of the ch 2 loops, all around; end with a sl st in the first sc made.
5. sl st in next 2 sc; *ch 5; skip 5 sc; sl st in next stitch*  (repeat from*to* 8 times); end with a sl st in the 2nd sl st made at the beginning of round.
6. sl st in the ch 5 loop; ch 1, 10 sc in that same ch 5 loop; *10 sc in each of the ch 5 loops*; (repeat from*to* 8 times); end with a sl st in the first sl st made at the beginning of round.
7. add jump rings and earring hook; wherever you like; check in the mirror so you can see how the earring will hang.

***Stitch Explanations:***

chain (ch):  yarn over, bring yarn through loop.

single crochet (sc):  insert hook through ring or stitch, yarn over, bring yarn through 2 loops.


double crochet (dc):  yarn over, insert hook through ring or stitch, yarn over, bring up loop, yarn over, bring yarn through 2 loops, yarn over, bring yarn through 2 loops.

3 double crochet together (3dctog): yarn over, insert hook through ring or stitch, yarn over, bring up loop, yarn over, bring yarn through 2 loops; yarn over, insert hook through ring or stitch, yarn over, bring up loop, yarn over, bring yarn through 2 loops; yarn over, insert hook through ring or stitch , yarn over, bring up loop, yarn over, bring yarn through 2 loops, yarn over, bring yarn through all 4 loops.

4 double crochet together (4dctog): yarn over, insert hook through ring, yarn over, bring up loop, yarn over, bring yarn through 2 loops;  yarn over, insert hook through ring, yarn over, bring up loop, yarn over, bring yarn through 2 loops; yarn over, insert hook through ring, yarn over, bring up loop, yarn over, bring yarn through 2 loops; yarn over, insert hook through ring, yarn over, bring up loop, yarn over, bring yarn through 2 loops, yarn over, bring yarn through all 5 loops.
